The Conewago Township Planning Commission held their monthly meeting on Monday, December 9, 2002. Those present were:

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Whitmeyer at 7:30 P.M.
The Agenda items were reviewed. No additions.
MINUTES - October 28, 2002 - A motion by Grubb second by Rozanski to approve the minutes after a correction is made (Page 2, under Manley Layman, the last sentence shall read. "The Solicitor will LOOK into this.) Motion carried.

JAMES K FOREMAN - Final Subdivision Plan of Parcel #2 - Schoolhouse Road
This plan is subdividing 21.1718 acres from lands of James K. and Helen C. Foreman and will he added to adjacent land owner of Philip J. and Carol Longenecker. It will be incorporated into one deed and will not be used or sold as a separate building lot.
WAIVERS: The following waivers are requested:
Section 403.1 - Preliminary Plan Submission.,
Section 407.1.A(17) - Erosion and Sedimentation Plan from Dauphin County Conservation District.
Section 403.1(f) - Size of location map.
A motion by Whitmeyer second by Rozanski to recommend approval of the 3 waiver requests. Motion carried.
Plan: A motion by Grubb second by Czuday to recommend approval of the plan subject to the comments of the Township Engineer (Rettew Associates Inc.) dated December 6, 2002 and subject to the comments from Dauphin County Planning Commission dated
11/27/02. Motion carried.
HILLS OF WATERFORD (DOWHOWER) - FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAN -
Roundtop and Steinruck Roads)
This is a subdivision plan of 61.5749 acres which is being subdivided into 84 lots. The preliminary plan was approved by The Board of Supervisors on October 9, 2002. Most of the waivers were all agreed upon in the Preliminary Plan approval.
Final Subdivision Plan: A motion by Whitmeyer to recommend approval of the Final Subdivision Plan subject to the Township Engineers comments dated December 9, 2002, Dauphin County Planning comments dated 12/5/2002, Dauphin County Conservation Districts comments dated 11/19/2002. DTMA approval, and Londonderry Township's comments need to he taken into consideration. Second by Grubb. After much discussion, the motion was rescinded. A motion again was made by Whitmeyer second by Grubb to table the plan until the next meeting in order to give the developer more time to make corrections and get more unanswered items answered.
Motion carried.
CONEWAGO PLACE - SKETCH LAND DEVELOPMENT PLAN - Nye Road
This was a sketch plan for an addition to the present building. No action taken at this
time.
Next meeting will be January 27, 2003.
A motion by Grubb second by Rozanski to adjourn at 9:15 P.M. Motion carried.
