The Conewago Township Planning Commission held their monthly meeting on Monday. January 27, 2003. Those present were:

The meet was was called to order by Chairman Whitmeyer at 7:30 P.M.
The Agenda items were reviewed. No additions.
MINUTES - December 9, 2002 - A motion by Grubb second by Czuday to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried.
Old Business:
HILLS OF WATERFORD (DOWHOWER) FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAN - Roundtop and Steinruck Roads)
This is a subdivision plan of 61.5749 acres, which is being subdivided into 83 lots. (73 lots in Conewago Township and 10 lots in Londonderry Township).
A motion by Grubb second by Whitmeyer to recommend approval of the plan subject to the comments of the Township Engineer dated December 9, 2002. Motion carried.
New Business:
STEPHEN & CINDY FOULKE - LAND DEVELOPMENT PLAN WAIVER - 5288 RIDGE ROAD
The Foulke's are proposing to erect a 24' x 36' 3 sided pole building to house animals and also to erect a fence. A motion by Whitmeyer second by Coble to recommend the Land Development Plan Waiver request subject to Stormwater concerns of the Township Zoning officer. Motion carried.
CONEWAGO PLACE - Final Land Development Plan - 424 Nye Road, Hummelstown.
Conewago Place is proposing to add a 3,094 sq. ft. addition to their present building which will be used mostly for office space, storage, conference room etc. A motion by Whitmeyer second by Rozanski to table the plan until next meeting. Motion carried.
BATZ RE-SUBDIVISION (HAROLD AND LILLIAN BATZ) - PRELIMINARY/FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAN (grounds toward Route 743) Schoolhouse and Bachmanville Roads, Hershey
In 1979 this parcel was subdivided, however, the deeds were not recorded correctly. This is just to re-subdivide the plan and have the deeds recorded correctly. A motion by Whitmeyer second by Grubb to table the plan in order to give the applicant more time to get corrections made. Motion carried.
BATZ/GORNIK - PRELIMINARY/FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAN (grounds toward Campbelltown) - Schoolhouse & Bachmanville Road
This is a 27.21 acre parcel being subdivided into 2 parcels (10.8854 acres and 16.1310 acres). A motion by Whitmeyer second by Grubb to table the plan until the next meeting. Motion carried.
The Planning Commission had some concerns about the large addition being built to the home of Jay Zeigler located at 3425 Old Hershey Road and what the proposed use will be. The secretary will check with the Zoning officer and also bring this matter to the Board of Supervisors attention.
The next meeting will he February 24, 2003.
A motion by Coble second by Czuday to adjourn at 9:10 P.M. Motion carried.
